Information collected
We collect your name, phone number, email, menu selections, quantities, pan sizes, holiday, fulfillment appointment, guest count, optional notes, and order-policy acceptance. Delivery orders also include your address and access instructions. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in notes.
We store order and payment references, confirmation-email status, and records of optional text consent. Our hosting service processes ordinary technical request information. The application uses short-lived keyed hashes of IP addresses to limit abusive requests; it does not store plain IP addresses in those request-limit records. Hosting and payment providers maintain their own technical logs under their policies.
How information is used and shared
We use your information to process payment, fulfill orders, provide confirmations, respond to concerns, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain required business records. Your order information is available to the business owner through a protected order page.
PayPal collects and processes payment information. This website does not collect or store card numbers, bank account numbers, PayPal passwords, or verification codes. PayPal’s own privacy terms apply to its services.
For delivery eligibility, your street address, city, state and ZIP code are sent to the U.S. Census Geocoder to check the 15-mile radius. Apartment numbers, order notes, and payment information are not sent for this address check.
When automated email is connected, Brevo processes the recipient email and name, order details, payment references, fulfillment instructions, and support information needed to send your confirmation. A pickup confirmation includes the private pickup address. Email confirmations are transactional; placing an order does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Receipt links and local storage
Your private receipt link grants access to your paid receipt. Keep it confidential and share pickup details only with the person collecting your order. We do not publish customer order lists or the pickup street address on public menu pages.
Your browser stores cart selections so they can remain available on your device. During checkout, browser session storage holds a temporary order session and the contact details you entered to support payment retries. Confirmed checkout clears the saved cart and that session. You can clear this information through your browser’s storage controls.
Texts and customer support
Your phone number is used for order coordination. Automated text alerts are not active at present. Any optional order-text consent is separate from purchase and covers order updates only, not promotions. For support, text 937-654-8843 with your order number, the name on the order, and details of your concern.
Retention, requests and security
We retain business records as needed for fulfillment, payment disputes, accounting, and legal obligations. Email and payment providers maintain records according to their own policies. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing uniquetastecateringco@gmail.com or contacting 937-654-8843. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes. We may verify your identity before disclosing or changing order information.
We use HTTPS, server-side secrets, owner access controls, private receipt tokens, and request limits to protect information. No system can promise absolute security. Never send financial account details, passwords, or verification codes through our order notes, text messages, or email.
This site is intended for customers able to enter a purchase agreement. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information.
